I'm happy to give it 4 stars... in my opinion, the White Duke is still in splendid shape here. There are excellent songs (just look at the title track, "Ashes To Ashes," "Teenage Wildlife," etc. etc.), and these are enhanced by special guests of the caliber of Robert Fripp and Pete Townshend... great album, truly worthwhile!
Dire Straits Making movies

Great album "Making Movies"... "Tunnel Of Love" and "Romeo & Juliet" are classics. I can’t bring myself to give it a 5 just because I prefer "Communiqué" and "Brothers In Arms" more. However, I repeat, in my opinion, we are at high levels.

The album, in my opinion, is quite flat... I definitely expected more from the original lineup of Asia. A few sparks here and there, especially in the more extended tracks like "Sleeping Giant" and "Parallel Worlds"... the rest is average.

Great review, Beat! I'll revisit it once I've listened to it, even though from the way you talk, it doesn't sound like the best... I'll start with other albums by this band!
Queen A Kind of Magic

The album would be a 3-star rating, but in the end, I feel inclined to give it a 4 for mostly sentimental reasons... "A Kind Of Magic" was one of the first albums I listened to. Anyway, "One Vision," "Gimme The Prize," and "Prices Of The Universe" are really great tracks, in my opinion.

Great review... I didn't think this group was still active!

One of the best, if not the absolute best of the legendary Heep. There isn’t a weak track on this album which, by the way, is also very varied… spanning across different genres. The title track is nothing short of wonderful. Highest rating and praise.
