Lou Reed Rock'n'Roll Animal
Voto:
Larrok, are you sure? I'd give a kidney to sound like Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter and create those guitar blends, those intros from "R'n'R animal"... and then it’s rock 'n' roll, not crap like fusion-jazz... damn!

A fundamental work for the music that will come years later..

...I also ultimately think it's an overrated album...I prefer "Let it bleed" or "Sticky Fingers"...
Radiohead In Rainbows

Magnificent your review, it encapsulates what Radiohead expresses. This album seems to me a notch above others because despite this suspended music, it conveys clarity of content, rhythm, decontextualized pop, and that subtle patina of soul, jazz that is like the cherry on top. An album that I am rediscovering and savoring slowly, yet each time it reserves new unexplored emotions.. long live Radiohead!!

A very beautiful review and for me very precious because I am fascinated by the group but a bit wary of the 70s arena rock genre which has also produced a lot of rubbish. Congratulations!

I completely agree with you. I have always followed them too and still consider the years from '87 to '92 as their most prolific. After "Wild Mood Swings," the inspiration was hard to come by; after buying the album "Bloodflowers" and being almost disappointed, I said enough.
Vasco Rossi London Instant Live

"Charming and unbearable as Italy is." Beautiful your analysis... I was actually thinking about it this morning while re-listening to an interview with Monicelli, who passed away just last night, dating back to Rai for a Night last summer. A ruthless and clear-eyed analysis of a slovenly country that relegates our fate to politicians, often a leader who declares "ghe pensi mì"… a breed of schemers and meddlers, of obvious contradictions, and the comparison with Vasco fits perfectly. I also have to confirm that at the Blasco concert in London, witnessed by a dear friend of mine, there were 90% Italians living there, who for them it’s like going to see the National Team in another usual mock game. In fact, I played with my band in two London pubs where, instead, there were mostly foreigners who enjoyed it… so for once I can say: "Vasco ma và in te ciapp..!!"

Well done Breus, convincing and informed, you get straight to the point without too many frills. You made me want to go and listen to him.
Dire Straits On Every Street

In my opinion, Dire Straits were right to exist until "Making Movies," which already showed some cracks but kept up with tracks like "Tunnel of Love," then it became a repetition that did no good to anyone...
