Peter Hammill Chameleon In The Shadow Of The Night
Voto:
Great album, I agree with the reviewer about its non-homogeneity; the pieces I prefer are the ones with the piano, always very moving, and the fantastic "In The Black Room," which has a truly spectral sound and is worth listening to the album for on its own.
Peter Hammill Fool's Mate
Voto:
A beautiful debut from Hammill as a solo artist, with the full band. It cannot be compared to the masterpiece released a few months earlier, but that’s exactly what makes it so surprising: this great musical genius always knows how to evoke emotions! Beautiful Vision.
Van Der Graaf Generator Pawn Hearts

The pinnacle among pinnacles, the Everest among the highest peaks in the world. I don’t feel the need to add anything else, every word is almost superfluous!
Van Der Graaf Generator H To He Who I Am The Only One
Voto:
I unconditionally adore all the songs, the masterpieces in this amazing album. The second piece of a superlative "triptych," an album capable of melancholically suggesting with "House With No Door" and "Lost," hypnotizing and capturing with "Killer" and "The Emperor in His War Room," concluding with the magical "Pioners over C."... A diamond that moves me every time I listen to it, just like the other two "brothers."
Agents Of Satan The Old Testament

Reading these reviews makes me wonder why 95% of the black satanic death doom metal albums reviewed on DeBaser have 5 stars...
King Crimson Starless and Bible Black
Voto:
I agree with those who preceded me, brilliant album, although I slightly prefer the predecessor for its "hybrid" live/studio nature. Even though its greatest uniqueness lies precisely in this.
King Crimson Larks' Tongues in Aspic
Voto:
Only characters like Fripp can conceive of music in this way. Music that doesn’t seem like music, enigmatic percussion and incredibly intricate sound cascades. Personally, it’s the album I prefer (of course along with In The Court) by the Crimson King, and I listen to it only when I'm in an "indecipherable" mood! :D
Comus First Utterance
Voto:
A review that does true justice to this amazing album, with a disarming genius. Defining it in just one genre is reductive, as it doesn't fully belong to any genre, in my opinion. I believe it is the album that has impressed me the most so far. It gets under your skin and shakes you, leaving you unsettled and disturbed, yet it is of rare beauty.
Red Hot Chili Peppers One Hot Minute
Voto:
Great album, I always enjoy listening to it. The whole band is excellent, very impactful Chad Smith and superb, as already mentioned, the "crazy" Flea!
Kraftwerk Electric Cafè
Voto:
Good review, I’ve never listened to this one by Kraftwerk, I stopped at "Computer World"...
