You have to check them out for sure... you’ll definitely like them... they take a lot from Neubauten, but they’re more conversational, a bit more "rock"... still very gray anyway...

"The best rock band in Los Angeles in the '80s? Easy: X." <<< NO! Not at all... :-)) Nice review, though... this album is a bit flaccid; I prefer "L.A." or (even better) the great "Under the big black sun," which are more inspired and fresher... anyway, the Legal Weapon of Kat Arthur are much better (especially the second album, "Your Weapon"): they play the same genre as X, but with a lot more passion... ah, of course, the Rolling Stone ranking (like any other ranking) doesn't matter...
