Masterpiece by Sonic Youth and of noise rock in general. Unmissable. One of the most successful doubles of all time. Exciting.

Spiritual testament of the Queen and her leader. A compendium of their sumptuous, theatrical, and eclectic pop-rock, tinted with leaden tones. It is undoubtedly the most anguished album of the entire Queen career. It contains at least two of the most beautiful songs of the 90s: Innuendo and Show Must Go On. The pearl of the album is, in my opinion, the cosmic Ride the Wild Wind... Slightly Mad and All God's People vie for the title of the craziest track.

What what what???!!! Krystal reviewing a group of "lumbard"?! Ahiahiahi Krystal, you're renouncing your roots ;-) (It remains inexplicable the editors' decision not to publish this review on the homepage). Among all the nonsense that has been written in the comments, the one that made me laugh the most was this: "IN MY OPINION ELIO IS SUCH A LOSER THAT WE SHOULD JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE...NOT ONLY DOES HE WRITE CRAPPY LYRICS BUT HIS MUSIC IS ALSO SHODDY...." Where are we headed? :-(((

@ Psycho: I miss the It's a beautiful day too! They were a band from Frisco, probably devoted to some very sophisticated acid rock... I imagine them like the Love... For now, I've only had the chance to listen to a sample of Bombay Calling (the intro, indeed very similar to Child in Time...).

So, here’s the plagiarism pool: Black Night (Deep Purple) = Ain't got nothin' yet (Blues Magoos); Starway (Zeppelin) = Taurus (Spirit); Child in Time (Purple) = a track by It's a Beautiful Day whose name I can't remember...

I don't mind the songs on side A: I place them on the same level as the title track... The guitar riff is heavily indebted to Cream (there's a track by the English power trio that's very similar, do you know which one?).

Is it not metal yet??!! Hmm...

A tasty summary of the era's psychedelia, halfway between the Doors and Jefferson Airplane, and straddling hard and pop... In my opinion, it has very little to do with metal... Nice review.
