@Psycho: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! The 1979 video is amazing!!! (especially when they shoot the toilet paper into the trees!!!) :-DDD Anyway, my sequence was: Machina-->Gish-->Siamese-->Adore--> Mellon @Trelly: look, Mr. NouQuito could have been even harsher in his critique of this album; the criticism itself isn't the problem... The issue is, if anything, that NouQuito managed to spot ELP (!) and Bon Jovi (!!) in an album that certainly draws heavily from the history of rock, but not from prog or AOR.

Antonio, you should know that Zaione is a die-hard fan of the legendary polished 80s synth-pop style "Enola Omosessuale". :-)))

Trell, give us a good reason to adore that "gentleman" who wrote this "review."

I finally listened to it. Beautiful. But maybe I prefer the EP Deathwish, more compact and inspired. It's halfway between Joy Division and PIL. Great charisma and terrifying voice of Rozz, but the other dedicated musicians are also up to the task (especially Agnew, so predictable in Adolescents, so free and creative here; plus a rhythm section always ready to change tempo). Perhaps none of the tracks on this OTOP is memorable: it’s an album that has to be absorbed from beginning to end, like an exhausting necrophilic ritual.

Yes, they are all blatantly British, zaion... :-)

Yes, Apples is a bit lackluster… Shame I like: gloomy, depressed, anguished, minimalist, with that bass left to itself, that spectral guitar, that languid singing, and that synth that comes in after a few minutes to definitively pierce the soul… Anyway, generally speaking, I prefer the second part of the album, which drips despair and compassion…

Giving 5 is, in my opinion, nonsense. <<< Why?

And where do we place the impressionism of Cupid De Locke? And the abyss of Jellybelly?

Isn't it funny how we pretend we're still a child...I won't deny the pain...Should I fall from grace...Galapogos and To Forgive are two of the most beautiful ballads of 90s rock...And I remember empty party afternoons won't come back...
