A classic. Run to the Hills and Hallowed By Thy Name are worth the price of the ticket. However, I prefer Killers, a spectacular album! And I like DiAnno's voice more than Dickinson's.

I'm discovering her these days... she's super chill... she vaguely reminds me of Björk... is it really that cold in Indiana?

I quote all the posts from Festwka, especially this beautiful phrase: "the 'underground' groups of the eighties were perhaps braver than the 'settantottini', certainly more humble and honest." Feel free to remove the "perhaps," Fester... ;-)

Well...Walter, I appreciate your reviews, but I'm not so keen on some of your analyses in the comments...It seems to me that lately you've been insisting a bit too much on this rock/dance dichotomy, viewing the 70s as the era of rock, the 80s as the era of dance, and the 90s as the era of crap...It seems like a rather simplistic view of the history of popular music...And where do we put the other genres? Punk, Hardcore, Noise, Industrial, Post-rock, Psychedelia, Progressive, New Wave, etc...

A round of applause for one of my favorite pasta qualities! :-)

Well done, Flo! This is how reviews should be written: with knowledge and insight. I'm tempted to get both Kircher's book and the Lightwave album to see if they evoke the same imagery. Naturalistic approach to electronics... and here the debate on Zeit starts again... Enea, are you there? :-D

Well... for me, people like Springsteen, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Neil Young, etc... made "real rock"... and they were all Americans...

Well... Under Pressure easily fits among the classics of mainstream rock music... it’s a thrilling track, full of ideas, tempo changes, melodies, featuring one of the most intense vocal duets in pop music... the album is poorly inspired and sloppily arranged... apart from Staying Power, Back Chat, Life is Real, Cool Cat... the amusing Calling All Girls and Action This Day... the rest is more or less garbage... Anyway, rock is American... ;-)

Look... I'll give this album a zero rating when you start writing reviews that are a little longer than a caption... :-D

Stunning! Well done Dune... very convincing in the portrayal you create of this atypical guitarist...
