I've never been a big fan of this movie... it doesn’t make it to my favorite horror films... I prefer Carrie (just to stick to the '70s)... the review is atrocious!

"it's not exactly an anti-militarist film. There is no satire or mockery. Buster was American through and through and respectful of institutions" <<< well let's keep in mind that we were in the 1920s: in my opinion, this film reveals a polite but incisive critique of militaristic logic... great review! :-)
