well it depends on what vinyls they were... I mean, if the VDGG ends up in the trash, it's understandable to get upset... but if, I don’t know, Toto Cutugno ends up in the bin, the reaction could even be joyful (but you’ve never owned vinyls of Cutugno, nor cassettes, I imagine...) :-PPP

mmmmmm, thank goodness no records ended up in the trash, otherwise who knows how many exclamations there would have been!!! :-)))

Are you referring to any particular text? Or to any specific phrase found in some of his lyrics? That way I can check it right away!

Yes, I read them, but I’m missing this component of repressed homosexuality (and I’m also missing the connection with the KC!) :-D

Ah fest, what is it that you don't find convincing about the grunge discourse?

@bjorky: I liked Kiarostami's earlier work... but his recent stuff has bored me to death... I prefer Pahnai among the Iranians...

Thank you. The Fastbacks were highly respected among grunge bands, particularly by Pearl Jam and Mudhoney... this shouldn't come as a surprise, considering that people like Cobain and Corgan were crazy about Cheap Trick :-)) Of course, it's strange to think that such thoughtful and troubled music like grunge (and related genres) was somehow "inspired" by a cheerful and carefree genre like power-pop, but that's just the way it is... I didn't know about the boos from Pearl Jam fans: fuck them (except boredom and donjunio, of course! ;-P)
