Don’t you understand that The Deer Hunter is a narrative, ethical, classic film, with its own meaning, its own rigor, its own "ratio"... real cinema is that which is unrestrained, crazy, out of the box! How can you say that The Deer Hunter is a masterpiece? It’s a mainstream film, it doesn’t have anything genius because it tells a story, it has a linear plot, it has a very precise meaning to convey! You can't compare it with the true visionaries, those who don’t care about anything or anyone and mix madness with avant-garde???

Well... frankly, I really can't understand why, every time Lynch is mentioned, the focus is exclusively on the aesthetic component or the symbolic one, or at most, on the psychological and psychoanalytic aspects, always neglecting what, in my opinion, is the most significant interpretation of Lynch's cinema: the sociological/cultural reading of American civilization. His films are frescoes (certainly transfigured) of America. Lynch is a sociologist: those who agree with me raise their hands!

I listened to the three tracks on MySpace...not bad...the arrangements are very well done...the only concern I have is regarding the sung parts, which seem rather modest to me (you don’t have a great voice, either in terms of timbre or pitch, and I’m not saying this to offend: the fact is that a great voice is not something everyone has...yours is an average voice, without flaws but also lacking in uniqueness). Anyway, I repeat: the work on the arrangements is impressive, the sound research, all the guitar work...well done.
