I want to remember that Winger was also nominated for an Oscar as best actress; moreover, the relationship with Maclaine was not very idyllic during the shooting, which led Maclaine to have some unkind words towards her Oscar-winning colleague.
P.S: I'm a romantic too, and I'm not ashamed of it.

Freak show...
Lawrence Kasdan Il Grande Freddo (1983)

Very interesting the theme discussed, perhaps it leans a bit too much into melancholy, but that's the cinema of the early '80s, nostalgic and aware that the best part of the century is now behind us. Great cast.
Michael Ende La Storia Infinita

But did Ende direct it? It doesn't seem so to me; wasn't the director Petersen? I think Ende hated this film.
Michael Cimino Il Cacciatore

I defend the idea; in fact, reading such comments about a film like this is truly disheartening, and it’s not just a matter of personal opinions but a misguided attitude towards cinema. The slowness, the speed, the dialogues, the images are the strength of a cinematic work. If today ignorance is rampant and no one seems capable of watching a film anymore, it’s a sign of the times.

Thank you for the comments. I noticed that on Debaser, controversy has become a daily occurrence, which saddens me a bit, and I see that even the section dedicated to cinema is at risk of losing its seriousness and lightness – truly a shame. My next review will be on "Voglia Di Tenerezza."
Paul McCartney Memory Almost Full
Voto:
It is well known that they are the leftovers from "Driving Rain," but be careful, Paul made some big mistakes in choosing the tracks to include on the album. In fact, he has an impressive sequence of beautiful songs left in the drawer; Paul’s fans will surely know "Waterspout" (1978, it was supposed to be the lead single for "London Town"), "Cage" (1979), or "Did We Meet Somewhere Before" (1977). Coincidentally, "Memory Almost Full" is superior to "Driving Rain"...

Hey Roby86, it's been a while since you've disappeared. When are you coming back as a reviewer?

The true masterpiece of Gabriel, innovative musical insights that have made history, "IV" is instead less interesting, "So" is much more commercial just like "Us."
