"Isn't it true that even Sir Paul had (and still has) a conflicted relationship with the lyrics of his own songs?"...you see, for McCartney often the lyrics are just sound, the words are chosen based on their significance, like in "Goodnight Tonight," "Silly Love Songs." The lyrics matter in other tracks, "Blackbird," "Little Willow," "The End." But McCartney is first and foremost a composer and then a lyricist; this must always be specified. The album hasn't been released yet...so...

Well...a decent film. But it could have focused more on the hero's decline and made a true MOVIE. But Spielberg only thinks about making money and is now in a deep crisis; he can no longer keep the right balance between action and comedy in his films (in this case). The opening is saved, the first part, but the second is decidedly off and the story almost disappears. What a shame, Ford is fine, Blanchett (but a huge talent feels a bit wasted on a role that seems almost like a caricature), and the return of Karen Allen, whose face tells us that the years have passed, and perhaps more should have been done for Jones.

Beautiful, stunning photography to frame the Maine countryside (I believe), beautiful colors and a brilliant story.

They wanted to create a disc of only Hits... they succeeded, but by '87 it was already old, and they had to rearrange the tracks for the live shows.

From Wikipedia.org "In her native Italy she is known as an artist with an uncompromising sense of musical integrity and her work refuses to be defined by either categories, labels or language barriers, nor by the commercial powers of today's music industry." Iside the compilation "Il Vento Caldo Dell'Estate" is the one that led to the end of the relationship with EMI. The unauthorized remix of "Chanson Egocentrique" and the refusal to publish the live "Art Et Decoration" effectively distanced Alice from the world's largest record label. On Wikipedia.org, the page about Alice is very rich, all the albums are analyzed and reported... a sign that Alice has a worldwide dimension and that Italy can comfortably hold on to Elisa, Pausini, etc.
