If you're at home with some friends, in front of a pizza, and there's nothing on TV... this is the perfect movie to watch!

A Jim Carrey in top form returns to make us laugh after the comedy-biography "Man On The Moon" (1999), in collaboration with the Farrelly brothers, also known for "There's Something About Mary" and "Dumb and Dumber."

The protagonist of the story is Charlie Baileygates (Jim Carrey), a father of three black children. He is a valid citizen, honest, kind, and ready to do anything for others. Charlie is a veteran policeman in Rhode Island and commands great respect at work and at home. Unfortunately, outside of these circles, he is not respected by his fellow citizens, who often take advantage of his kindness and availability.
Just when his life is turning into a living hell, Frank Evans enters the scene, his grumpy, rude, and hyper-aggressive alter ego who takes control of his body.
The two of them have nothing in common until a certain Irene Waters (Renée Zellweger) enters the story, with whom they both fall in love, leading to a real rivalry.
From the moment the policeman forgets his medications for his involuntary narcissistic rage-induced schizophrenia in his hotel room, Frank takes over whenever he wants.

The scenes that showcase Carrey's acting skills are those of the "fight" between Frank and Charlie, in which the latter finally manages to expel the worst part of his personality.

Laughter guaranteed from start to finish in a story excellently acted by both lead actors, perfectly suited for these roles.

I hope that as a first review, it's decent enough.
