But seriously, how the hell can you listen to that crap from Kiss? It's inhuman!

The HIM are my downfall, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. But I certainly won't write that they're objectively good, seeing as they can't actually play. They simply communicate emotions to me. But that's another story. If you listened to "objectively" crap without the presumption of saying it’s good music, but simply because you like it and/or it communicates emotions, then I wouldn’t attack you. But you, on the other hand, listen to the worst glam crap while claiming that it's beautiful music. Europe! The Europe! Damn, do you realize how terrible they are? Aren't you even a little ashamed? I’d have more courage to give Madonna a 5 than to the Europe... at least Madonna doesn't have that fake hard rock bullshit attitude. Anyway, given your tastes, I suggest changing your nickname to "longlivetoGLAMrock"... it would be more fitting. Bye.

To recap: not everything that is liked and/or moves us is also good music. Otherwise, we wouldn't have all the fans of Ramazzotti, right? :D

For example, you, sweet, seem to be just one of them: you listen to the evanescence and give a 1 to britney spears while writing a series of childish insults at her and/or her fans. Look, there's no difference between you and a britney spears fan: objectively speaking, the musical and compositional level of britney and the evanescence is still low. The difference, on the other hand, lies between a fan of pink floyd or led zeppelin and a britney spears fan. There, yes, there is a difference, as maybe person A is moved by the floyd, while person B is moved by britney or the evanescence. But it happens that the instrumental level, compositional quality, the goal that music aims for (-made to sell or out of love for music?-) is different. The quality is different. There is no originality in the evanescence; there is no quality or particularity that distinguishes their sound from others. The lyrics are stupid (sweet sacrifice is pathetic, the usual dark love song, etc.), they don't experiment, they don't seek new sounds, they don't try to improve. In fact, they come out with an album that is exactly the photocopy of the previous one, which incidentally had sold well. Did you know that a decent artist who doesn't make albums to sell usually prefers not to release an album if it turns out the same as the previous one? In fact, it usually doesn't happen at all; usually there is an EVOLUTION.

Anyway, tastes are tastes and must be respected; I like some albums that are objectively crap. But I always try to be objective in my judgments, because otherwise, even those who listen to Julio Iglesias could be justified. Objectively, Evanescence are crap; they can’t play, they can’t compose, and they make music for dark-hearted kids who think they’re alternative by listening to nu metal (not realizing that nu metal is nothing more than the commercial crap they despise, just presented in a metal guise, maybe shouted with some noise underneath). For example, you, sweet, seem to be one of them: you listen to Evanescence and give Britney Spears a 1, writing a series of childish insults towards her and/or her fans. Just so you know, there are no differences between you and a Britney Spears fan: the musical and compositional level, OBJECTIVELY SPEAKING, of Britney and Evanescence is still low.

Wow, I was unfortunate enough to listen to this: truly ridiculous. Excellent review as always (unfortunately wasted on an album that leaves much to be desired).
