THE REVIEW

Thin Lizzy: arguably the most underrated band of all time. Irish, led by the brilliant Phil Lynott (bass and vocals), this live-recorded album showcases the best of their repertoire, played on a magical evening.

No title was more fitting: this album is ALIVE (more than "live") and DANGEROUS. It's pointless to break down the album track by track: the commandments of rock were set many years before, and Thin Lizzy, as good disciples, prove they have left everything to follow them. From the first to the last track is a succession of well-structured songs, built on tight rhythms and fiery guitar riffs. Only occasionally do they take their foot off the gas to show that rock also has a sweeter side. An album of pure, absolutely pure, hard rock.

Thin Lizzy

Thin Lizzy are an Irish hard rock band formed in Dublin in 1969 by Phil Lynott (bass, vocals), Brian Downey (drums) and Eric Bell (guitar).
