stunning "1963", "the perfect kiss" long version, "mesh". Great review, I believe the voice in "movement" is definitely Sumner’s.

Great. Really beautiful. Everything. And "The perfect kiss" long version is phenomenal, just like "1963," just like "mesh."

Kosmo, I don't know how the original sounds, but the newly remastered version just released is really well done! Packaging, sound, extra tracks, etc... I was saying, the sound seems very refined, clean, contributing to give the arrangements an elegant yet sinister aura. Really, I wasn't expecting such a level. I thought I would find more... clumsiness. My favorites: "blsack planet," "walk away" (too bad about the rather... hasty ending), "logic," "marian" (now a bit less, but I've overplayed it these days), "possession" (I love the powerful beat of doktor avalanche).

Shall we then make comparisons between cartoons before and after '77?
The Smurfs were born in the full post-punk era. The first theme song (whose title I can't recall) was already a whimper of keyboards that frankly remind me of the Stranglers' "Feline" :D (by the way, I need to fill this gap—such a Stranglers gap). Then, they changed in the mid-'80s with “i puffi sanno che il tesoro c'è/ nel fiore accanto a te...” and so on. Much more synthpop, huh! :D Less suitable for a child's sleepy awakening at 7 in the morning. The first was calmer and more refined. Who remembers? :)))

You see, I can reach a terabyte in half the time by downloading mp3s at 680k instead of 320k. Let’s set some clearer limits, or it’ll be like offside :D

NGW, regarding the first and the last and the eternal (?), did you notice the remastered reissues with cardboard sleeves, CDs with extra tracks, and a bit of the Sisters' history? ... and it's available at a midprice, 15 euros. Snatched it up.
