You are right, Gustavotanz: I was clearly referring to the sublime Mauro Pagani. By the way, I had the chance to appreciate him twice back in 2006: at a stop of Ligabue's Tour in the stadiums and, even better, from the third row of an acoustic concert at the theater by the same Ligabue.

A user above made the gross mistake of confusing Shakira with Lady Gaga. I reiterate, as stated in my review, that the Colombian is a singer with a commendable and honorable history (especially before dedicating herself to the commercial pop that made her famous in the West), and even if her genre may not appeal to everyone, at least her music is genuine. Just because she makes the (subjective) mistake of always showing her hips does not mean she is a mediocre artist. The same cannot be said for the theatrical and often vulgar Lady Gaga, who is always accompanied by dazzling costumes and special effects. At the center of Shakira's concert, however, with humility, was just her and all her skill in singing, dancing, and engaging with her audience. To dispel any doubt, I repeat: Shakira – unlike Lady Gaga and all the second-rate pop divas – knows how to sing and has a beautiful voice. Just take a stroll on YouTube to notice her vocal qualities in any amateur video (for example: La Despedida, Live in Las Vegas 2007

The review is well written, aside from a few inaccuracies: Shakira's latest album is not She Wolf, but Sale el Sol, and it is from this very album that the tour takes its name (The Sun Comes Out World Tour). It's a mortal sin not to mention this information even in part of the review. In any case, you seem to know well and appreciate especially the early version of Shakira, the "genuine" one with black hair, known only in Latin America, and that does you credit. But even the current version, although geared - as you said - mostly toward a commercial mindset, is not so bad: just look at Antes De Las Seis, a lovely song from the latest album with which she opened her encore. That said, I’m providing you with the link to my review of this concert: Shakira, la Loca fa Impazzire Torino - Dietro le Quinte

Congratulations to the editors, most of the featured reviews capture the reader from the very beginning with a clear and engaging opening. And in this case, the author has not fallen short either: Kudos to him as well. I leave the link to my site Dietro le Quinte

You write well, but you’ve said too little about the album. I haven’t listened to the record: I don’t know if I will, since it's been years since I stopped listening to what I once called (amid the rightful laughter of some) the Emilian "bluesman." Well, the only thing I'm grateful to this site for is that it helped me get to know Zucchero better (and consequently introduced me to the great Joe Cocker, now he is an Artist with a capital A) and truly understand what kind of "singer" he is. If in the first comment I left on this site I supported and defended him from criticism, I’ve come to realize that aside from making plagiarism a constant in his career, there are, in the end, few songs he has written that can be defined as masterpieces. Both musically and from a lyrical standpoint (we could list hundreds of examples, but I will limit myself to mentioning just "Il Grande Baboomba," "Un kilo," and "Sento le campane"), in fact, many are bland, useless, and even stupid. A prominent singer, as defined by much of the respected criticism, would also not make constant references to vulgarity in his songs (I remember lines like "Lecca le mie pene, begli occhioni blu//che la tristezza viene, quando tira di più"; or "Pompa, pompa, datemi una pompa," and there would be many examples here as well). In short, as a child I was very passionate about his "Oro, Incenso e Birra" and "Spirito DiVino," but growing up I have been very disappointed by this artist.

Well-written review with the usual preparation from Zucchero84. Old Joe, despite having blown out sixty-six candles in May, continues to not disappoint his fans with his unmistakable voice. If you want to know my opinion, read my review at: Hard Knocks: il Ritorno di Joe Cocker - Dietro le Quinte
Shakira Sale El Sol

Not a bad review. Regarding Sale el Sol, it's not all to be discarded: on the contrary, it's much more interesting than the previous She Wolf, an electropop album released last year. If you want to know my opinion, read my review at: www.dietrolequinteonline.it/?p=1185

I apologize for the errors in the spelling of Spanish accents, but at the time I was not at all familiar with the language.
Let’s correct: Operación Triunfo, Premonición, Corazón Latino, Bulería, Quién me iba a decir, and Almería.
