Mummies? Is it perhaps a shame to have 30 years of experience behind you? If you think that way, here’s why there’s all this garbage around... Because there are people like you who buy it. With affection.

In fact, "The pile" should just shut up. With that crap it's throwing at us! Arrogant!
Lucio Battisti Il mio canto libero

Beautiful review. I really liked when you wrote: "...shaking off (...)" The Dark Side Of The Moon" without irreverence, with courage. Congratulations! As for the album, what can I say... Magnificent, innovative, melancholic, alive. Hooray!
Lucio Battisti Emozioni

Marco, you just beat me to it by a hair: I would have loved to review this album myself! Anyway, the album is wonderful, no doubt about it, but I think there are a few naivetés, like in "Era" and "Dolce di giorno." Even "Dieci ragazze," while very catchy, comes across as a bit too carefree. Otherwise, there are tremendous songs for the first "true" album of Battisti-style songs. In the stratospheric "Anna," Battisti's interpretation is absolutely incredible: it’s heartfelt, subdued, sad, and in the end, he emerges accompanied by the frenzied rhythm of Franz Di Cioccio's drums. A cornerstone.

Oh yes dear Marco, it's just like that.. I don't have any Renato Zero records, but I know a ton of his songs and I've seen videos that made me admire what once was the Italian David Bowie (only in look, I don't want to make comparisons). As you said, now he is just Renato Fiacchini, no longer the extravagant vamp from 30 years ago. No mamma no! is my favorite song. Bye!

Nobody as soon as I can buy Cold Roses, although to be honest I'm looking forward to listening to 29 which came out about a month ago. I'm sorry that he's viewed negatively within debaser because in my opinion there are very few COMPLETE artists like him around (only a madman would go from "Love is Hell" to "Rock n roll". Phenomenon.

What does "ma va là" mean? Does what you're saying make sense? Or is it just empty chatter?
Simple Minds Street Fighting Years

When I referred to the crap of the '80s, I wasn't talking about Simple Minds, which is a kickass group... I was referring to something else, like those little bands (or so-called singers) that hit big with singles of rare ugliness and banal mediocrity. This album is probably a bit more "earworm" than the others thanks to Trevor Horn's production, who built something like Madonna. Still, I maintain that this is among the three most beautiful albums by Simple Minds, and every time I listen to the title track, it gives me chills. Pure enjoyment.

Sorry, I was sure I had submitted the grade... Well, obviously 5!
Eagles Hotel California

In my opinion, this is a fundamental album in the history of rock. No one has referred to the content of this work, nor to the title (Hot-hel(l) California), a true trip into the West Coast of America and into the minds of some. For me, it’s a wonderful album, and it's not a sin to put different, hypnotic, and spectral songs all in one record. Great!
