Alessandra Celletti Hidden Sources - Gurdjieff/deHartmann

Oh dear Mr. Nobody: a conversation between Einstein and Copernicus is indeed beautiful!!! :-) And anyway, it is known that music and science are not that far apart. I wanted to tell Copernicus that I am actually more interested in Gurdjieff the "musician." And if he did this great work of transcribing over 300 pieces, it means that he also considered music an important form of knowledge... I know Jarrett's CD too and I find it quite boring.

The piece I like the most from the whole CD is Love Among the Sailor... Voice and keyboard and a very "dark" lyric. "There’s a warm wind blowing. It crosses the oceans and enters every port. A plague. A black plague. There’s danger everywhere. And you have gone to sea." Maybe I’ll include this too...

A beautiful nickname Copernico... much better than Ouspensky. And easier to remember. But did you already know Gurdjieff's music and this CD? Did you listen to the samplers I included?

Why do you think you wouldn't interest her as a little boy???

As for the music...now I'm inserting a sample. The percussionist who opens the piece is Joey Baron. It creates a magnificent dramatic atmosphere...

The opening piece is beautiful: it's called Speechless (The eagle and the Weasel). It's a unique love story.
"...She sees the eagle
With the skull of a weasel
Hanging from its neck.
And here's how it happened, listen.
The weasel bites her in return.
They take flight aimlessly.
The weasel hangs on.
Together forever."

Hello Mr. Nobody. It's true: I get passionate about things and I dive headfirst into them... Debaser is my new passion! Hi JohnOfPatmos. I assure you that if you listen to this CD you will be fascinated. In the meantime, here are a few snippets…

Thank you so much Hal... I hope to improve by reading the reviews of those who are more experienced than me. Yours, for example! Anyway, this is really a nice site. A true surprise.

Yes, Gabbox. Like you, I prefer Satie to Glass, and like you, I want Odradek to return among us. But have you seen the celletti in person?
