Well, as a change from the beginnings, it's a bit paradoxical to feel it, but try to listen to all the Helmet albums from the first one to this one, excluding the compilation. Blast yourself with 5 hours of music in your ears, maybe while driving in a car, and I believe it makes sense to define it as tough. If Meantime was inferior to the first, Betty surpasses Meantime; this is innovative because it offers a different sound. Let’s say I was struck by the use of individual instruments, which had never been so emphasized in their albums. Here the approach is more detailed, in my opinion, Birth Defect is fantastic. But not only that.
