THE REVIEW

Who among us has never heard a BEP song on the radio?? And who among YOU has NEVER, ever felt like shaking your hips while listening to one of their songs??

Okay, now you're going to start saying all sorts of things—sellouts-commercial-fake-dolls—okay, whatever you want, but you can’t say that you don’t feel like dancing and wanting more. Stop filling your head with phrases like "but it’s commercial stuff, it’s worthless"; what does it matter? To be good, music has to be enjoyable; money has nothing to do with it. Let’s talk about the album in question. I’m not a fan of this musical genre, but I have to say that BEP are the only ones who manage to stand out among all the new releases of recent years. They have their own style which, even if trendy, is original. I adore them.

Special guests: Justin Timberlake, James Brown, Jack Johnson, and Sting. The most famous song on this album is certainly "Don't Phunk With My Heart", which mixes their creativity with "Bollywood" style. Mary Stacy Ferguson’s voice perfectly matches the background music and the melody is very rhythmic, providing a delight for the listener.
Another very famous but less appealing song is "Don't Lie". I can't stand it. Aside from the CCCP T-shirt they wear in the video, I find it an unnecessary song. The melody is nice but not suitable for dancing.

Other really great songs I recommend are: "Dum Diddley", "Feel it", "Bump da bump".
Avoid those they play on the radio as they make the CD sound ridiculous.

Happy listening.

I find that this album lacks absolutely nothing, from the 70s rock style of James Brown in 'They don’t want music' to a decidedly more ethnic style in 'Bebot'.

Fergie’s beautiful voice making this flashy song a bit more beautiful.
