uhm... with the Cramps... there is a similar base, rockabilly. But I'd say the Cramps lean more towards psychobilly, which is a more "violent" take on "pure" rockabilly, perhaps even more raucous, filled with references to horror movies and things like that.

"In My Dreams" is pure English psych-folk, with a melancholy that is only matched by "The Sky Children" by the contemporary Kaleidoscope (UK). I was a bit unsure whether to give them a try or not, but this sentence convinced me.
