I'll give you my personal definition: NU-metal > a genre that emerged, alongside crossover and post-grunge, after the golden years of grunge. This music now invades the market, and the bands that support this genre are mostly boring, stressed, sold out, and can't do a damn thing besides making noise with computers (see Linkin Park). Others are angrier and more violent, but still make a mess (Slipknot). They're so useless they can't even pull off a mini-solo. They flood the market and have brought true metal to ruin. The only salvageable bands are Korn and System of a Down. THIS IS MY DEFINITION OF NU-METAL.

So your argument would mean: I can insult and they cannot. But then who tells you what each of us knows? Are we classmates? Do we live nearby? And it’s useless to respond: “SHUT UP, LISTEN TO ST. If you listen to ONLY one type of music for 12 years and don’t evolve (musically), you remain just a narrow-minded metalhead. I’ve been listening to this genre for three years. During this time, I’ve appreciated, listened to, and critiqued many bands and many genres, but I still haven’t listened to everything and I’m not an expert at all, just a guy who is passionate about heavy music. I’ve now branded on my heart the name: METALLICA, but that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped at their music.

If we're being objective here, could you ever put KILL'EM ALL, RIDE THE LIGHTNING, MASTER OF PUPPETS, or ...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL alongside a Cradle album? Come on, you can't make an objective comparison.
