The Mothers Of Invention Freak Out!

Great review Dave, I've often thought about reviewing it... but now there's no need, since you've said it all. The final part of the review is stunning, very realistic. The album, well... it's been a short time since I discovered it, but I've listened to it about 1000 times and it’s magical, wonderful, stunning, inimitable, tireless... "Hungry Freaks, Daddy" - "Who Are The Brain Police" - "Motherly Love" - "Wowie Zowie" - "It Can't Happen Here" and "The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet" are my absolute favorites, but I also really like the rest of the album. SUSYYY...! YES!!!...

Great review, I agree with everything the reviewer says. I would just like to add one thing, I’ve always said it and I will always say it: Italy showed its guts in music only once in the '70s with Prog, when inspiration and Mediterranean essence fused to create something of great value and extraordinary.

Anyway, the first album by Rush is not bad at all. A Hard Rock style reminiscent of Zeppelin. Lord: I’ve heard of Procession by name, Cricus 2000 I know. But do you know Exploit then?

Has it already been released in Italy? I don't vote because I haven't listened to anything yet, except for the EP "Wire & Glass" that came out this summer, which for me has been enough...

EXPLOIT is the name of the group, and "Crisi" is the name of their only album, released in 1972...

Guys, I discovered Rush (I already knew them by name...!) they are wonderful!!! Let's see if you both know a Roman band that released only one album (rare and never reissued on CD, which is now worth around 1000 euros!!!) called EXPLOIT... I managed to download it from the Internet...!
Deep Purple Burn

Great rec, I agree with everything you've said about this album... A great album. The "reincarnation" of Deep Purple that I prefer the most is Mark 1... the one from "Hush," to be clear. It goes without saying that the lineup of Gillan and Glover produced masterpieces, and for this third "face" of the group, I feel that Coverdale and Hughes brought some fantastic Funky/Soul sounds to the Purple.

Great album, in my opinion the best after the first four. The most beautiful piece (besides "In My Time Of Dying" and "Kashmir") for me is "Ten Years Gone"... stunning Page at the end. Overall, it's a more than good album. I give it a 4 for the review, even though it doesn't go into details; it's always difficult to review albums of this caliber.

The Mental Block, I already know it by name... Thank you, Dave, I will follow your advice...!
