The Beatles Let It Be
Voto:
Great album... not on par with the previous ones, but nice... I really like it. Anyway, I don’t think this album was for the money; the last true album was "Abbey Road." Let It Be was released late, precisely because of that issue with Phil Spector changing the arrangement. In short, it came out in '70, but the songs on this album were written before "Abbey Road"; there were just some setbacks! The review is good. Bye!!

I didn't like how you described "I'll Follow The Sun," which is one of the most beautiful songs on the album. But the rest is fine!!! Bye

Anyway, the video of the Rotating Plane can be found on the DVD "Beyond The Beginning." A DVD that I recommend purchasing for anyone interested in good music and the band, it contains many interesting things... live performances, promos, interviews, and the concert from California Jam.

Greg 89, congratulations on the amazing review, just like the album. I think like you, and I'm just 2 years older. I also don’t wear brands, I hate dressing fashionably, I despise the narrow-mindedness that prevails among (most) kids today. I’m someone who is all for having fun, all for technology, but always with limits. In life, we can all change, I know for sure because it happened to me. Anything can make you change (for the better), a girl, an experience... many things, for me it happened with Music. Before, I listened to dance, rap, and the silly pop of today... then one day I had a sudden curiosity to listen to the Beatles... well, from that moment on I started to grow my hair and especially to have IDEALS, the most important thing for a young person is to have their own ideal... for their future. "Cut My Hair" is beautiful, it evokes strong emotions in me! Great Who!

Valid review, congratulations! As for the concert, well... there are no words to describe its GREATNESS, just like the GREATNESS of The Who. I want to make a small observation: the original title of the concert is "The Who - Listening To You - Live At Isle Of Wight Festival 1970." Bye!

To describe this masterpiece, it would take a million posts! Scaruffi has his opinion, and I see nothing wrong with that. But to say that the Beatles were ONLY a fad is absolute nonsense!!! Without them, there would NEVER have been bands like Equipe 84 - Dik Dik - Giganti - Nomadi and many others here in Italy. So it is precisely with the explosion of their magical Music that many bands emerged, here in Italy as in England or America. The groups that Scaruffi mentions I really like, and I think some of them would never have started playing without the Beatles. Yes... the EARLY Beatles songs are commercial, but can we compare the commercialism of yesterday with that of today? There’s no comparison!

I've listened to it a few times, but it didn’t take long to realize that the Deep from a little while ago were gone. The guitarist of this lineup annoys me a bit. He’s not on par with Ritchie and then he brags a lot; it doesn’t make sense to dye your hair to play that kind of Rock, we’re in '75, not '78, Punk was just around the corner. The review is good. Bye!

antoniodeste: First of all, thank you for your sincerity.
With the word "satisfied," I wanted to express... a well-timed rhythm... well placed, you understand?
I can't forgive myself for the "Honky" mistake. Yet, I was sure that's how it was said. Maybe I wanted to express the uniqueness of the very instrument, namely the Piano. Besides, isn't the Honky Tonk music played in old comedy films? Right? Anyway, thank you for pointing it out. Bye!!

"Maybe Amazed" is amazing!!!! but it’s worth mentioning "Teddy Boy" (the song, originally meant to be on the "Let It Be" album, but I believe it was discarded by Lennon...) which you didn’t mention in your review. The rest of the album is enjoyable... Bye!
