But yes, I certainly don't pay attention to these things. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even give ratings; you can understand the value of the work from the review itself, and it's always annoying to weigh it with a scale. I tend to be quite generous myself, after all. In the first post, I meant to point out that the review is spot on precisely because it manages to engage even while dealing with what, to me (but only to me), isn't an album that would offer particular insights on its own. Bye!

Well, besides "Nothing's shocking," there's also "Ritual de lo habitual," which for me is even superior, with an irreplaceable second side, "pompous" in a grand sense, with Navarro energizing a suite like "The she did" without doing a solo for 8 minutes, much to the chagrin of those who have always portrayed him as an egocentric guitar hero. They only made three albums, but that's enough to change the history of rock, just like the Pixies, whom I also adore viscerally.
