On the wrong title and the fake one, there's little to say: Alvaro Vitali has garnered followers in our country, it's well-known...

I liked the album; it’s certainly not a classic. There are some awkward drops in tone, but tracks like "shock and awe" and "restless consumer" are truly worth it. The riffs are far from lacking bite; in fact, it’s been years since they’ve been this perfect and venomous. "Shock and awe," especially, with its curare-like riffs and a disorienting trumpet that seems to echo the effect of the psychological warfare referenced in the title... de gustibus, ciao pun.

We skip the 80s and move to grunge because when discussing significant rock phenomena, one cannot help but confront objective data such as the impact on society and the music that expresses the values of the era in which it is produced. The grunge era was, amidst many contradictions, a time when all the stylistic pushes of the 80s and the bands that Fest mentions came to the surface... reworking them with synthesis and, in the case of Nirvana, talent in writing songs that defined a generation, capable of transcending genres and breaking into the mainstream... managing to put rock back at the center of pop music, despite those who, like Sting, Zappa, and their interpreters, claimed in '91 that "rock was dead and was a reactionary nothingness." Among the bands cited by Fest, I would add Jane's Addiction (of a different breed, as they would break through), while among the magnificent losers, I would mention Thin White Rope, Pussy Galore, Wipers... the great underrated bands of the 80s were extraordinary also because they operated in the underground, and their sound exploration was not tainted by business.

but in fact I wasn't replying to you, but to farina and davejongilmour... it's obvious that no one has the truth in their pocket, but if someone makes a statement like - Punk is a nice "rifugium peccatorum" for people who "try to graduate without studying" or "punk has left few traces" - they can expect someone to respond.... that's all. bye!
