The Punisher is right: you can't give ratings randomly. Since I started writing on this site, I've been saying it: objectivity is key! Leave your passionate love for an artist or an album aside, analyze it as if you didn't know who you were talking about, as if the person you’re reviewing is a complete stranger to you. If it moves you, write it down, avoiding the word masterpiece (leave that to those who want to fill their mouths with the usual regressive advertising...). Soon, I will be reviewing an album with 1 star, and it’s from one of my favorite bands: but when faced with a piece of junk album, why not admit it and call it by its name?
