Alan Ball Six Feet Under
Voto:
Look... usually on Friday evening, when I’m tired, I get really frustrated, I have a headache, my throat hurts, with three bills in plain sight, and my brain somewhat fried… I put on a nice DVD with three pre-recorded episodes of this Six Feet Under! Ahhhhhhhh if only you knew the pleasure, the relaxation... right after a always fleeting, gentle but necessary touch of my jewels, I’m reborn! Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an inappropriate term, but whoever has the courage to joke about these things has guts.

...because the review also has a serious tone... how should we comment? The one about the book is a technical note for memorization. But knowing English doesn't mean having memorized 50 vocabulary words. I challenge you, after having learned the book by heart, to go into any station in London and ask a Londoner for information... you, after reading the book will understand: wth jdsk dhu yins jdsj skh ser? In other words: nothing. There are two valid methods for learning English: 1) Have it taught to you at the age of two or three by a native speaker. 2) As adults, go to an English-speaking country, with no Italian acquaintances, and survive for at least 6 months. Finally, the last sentence of the review is both the cause and proof of the mass ignorance affecting us Italians compared to the rest of the world.

It's a great album. For me, the most beautiful and mature of U2. And one of the best of the '80s.

Alright... thanks for the kind advice. I'll try to cover this shameful (for me) gap. I remember having listened to scattered songs, but I never spent a euro on them. Tomorrow morning we’ll blast Angels and Daemons at Play and Timothy's Monster on the car stereo. Let’s see how it affects me.
