Nine Inch Nails With Teeth

Conor, thank you for the comment. However, I disagree with you. Since I first listened to With Teeth, I haven’t taken it off the player... my motivation is simply this: it’s a great album. The more direct approach, in my opinion, does not detract from the quality of the work; on the contrary, I see this album as yet another confirmation of a true artist, capable of writing "songs." After all, it was a deliberate choice on his part; after Fragile, where he unleashed his subconscious without any restrictions, he wanted to do the opposite—discipline himself, taking it as a challenge. The result, as you could read from the review, is excellent in my view. There is a slight dip in inspiration in The Collector, With Teeth, and perhaps Getting Smaller, but they are superbly compensated by stunning songs like Right Where It Belongs (among the most beautiful in his discography, in my opinion) and the entire last part of the album, as well as All the Love in the World, Love Is Not Enough, and even "Every Day Is Exactly the Same"; I didn't turn up my nose, I really like this song, even while adoring Reznor's previous work. Artistic paths, when they are consistent with the person, have all my respect and admiration. Detoxification is strongly present in this album, just as melancholy and disillusionment have taken the place of the destructive anger of Broken and Downward Spiral, consistently continuing a journey that began with Fragile... I don't see it, from a content perspective, as very different: the expressive means change for me. I am firmly convinced it would have been much worse to be here critiquing the lack of novelty in another work along the same lines as the previous ones...

The big batrachian has practically answered for me.
I would like to add that a band is not shit just because it's not serious, but because it is completely devoid of any artistic quality. The latter is the picture of Motley Crue: pure stereotypes, nothing more than ridiculous.

Magnificent review, a beauty that has become rare on this site... truly commendable. The album? An astonishing example of the infinite potential of the human mind.

A somewhat academic but honest review that, all in all, describes some listening sensations quite well. The album is an absolute masterpiece without a doubt, dark, mystical, with an amazing production. Luca - it may not appeal to everyone, but leave the "disgust" for some other band.

MMM-MEMORABILL-LIA!!! Great Quertzy, another excellent review on this must from the legendary 80s... get your hands on Reznor's cover of memorabilia if you don't have it, it's remarkable.

Can you explain to me what sense it makes to do this? Why are you hiding your identity?
