...I listened to it a little, it seemed to me halfway between liking it... and being indifferent... tonight I'll take it out again... I would give it a nice 2.5 (a three for the presence of Lalli and Hernandez...). I’ll delve deeper... maybe a somewhat sparse review... in tune with the desert?

I could admire it in Lugano... distorted, hallucinatory, so filled with emptiness that it brings anguish... beautiful... I would compare it to a song by Alice in Chains, perhaps "Them Bones"... which, in fact, starts with a chilling scream.

I played it no more than two or three months ago in Monza!!..in a delightful game library that has it as a treasure!! The fabulous thing is that the game is free...there's a bit of a queue but it's worth it. If I’m not mistaken, I reached the 3rd pattern, but of course.. I was a novice back then.. imagine now!

seen live at the bloom... I think about ten years ago... skinny, dressed like a sprite, in a tight light blue jumpsuit and a hat on his head... Very beautiful and fun concert... even though not all the members of Gong were there.. As a cherry on top, at the end of the concert we wandered into a pseudo dressing room and smoked a nice joint together, offered by Daevid and rolled at that moment with great mastery by the sprite of the Gong.

perhaps a bit self-serving and a little pretentious... but for me it is the essence of the mogwai sound. Unmissable, so delicate and impetuous at the same time. 5 full balls without hesitation. Now I will go back to reread the review I wrote back then... (I believe in 2005) about this cd... I’m sure I gave it 5 balls then too!!

great roberto raviola magnus! he's the creator of the most beautiful alan ford-kriminal and satanik albums, and not just those.. returning to tex, I don’t share the overly negative judgment... I liken him to clint eastwood in sergio leone's films - even if clint is a cut above.. - and I find him charming; even though he doesn’t thrill me. a giant album, 5 stars!
