Anyway, jokes aside, I read the review a couple of times and honestly I didn’t see any attacks on Naples. The Fungo given to the explosion was a special effect and if for Punisher Naples really has to explode, that’s his problem...the review is sprinkled with the usual jokes (subtle or not) that people make about Naples, Rome, and Milan... why get upset, in Varese they sing Bombe a mano su Milano bombe a mano su Milano oh....

I think I've understood (or at least I hope) the beauty of the CD in question. Of the three artists, I only know Frisell. The samples really convey the idea of the music played by the three, and adding to that the excellent review, we get a nice 5. "When the mind sways and cradles itself between its own thoughts, desires, and ghosts."..you express with words feelings that are extremely personal, yet I believe many experience when they approach music of this caliber. Bravo.

...wow, I was tempted to skip over it, but then seeing the reviewer’s name, I read it all in one go. You write very well and are objective in all your reviews, so if you discuss it this way, I think it's worth giving the album in question a listen. I’m particularly curious about the comparison with Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. Indeed, in such a crowded market like Soul R&B, it takes talent to stand out... from your words, it seems this artist has it. Plus, they are backed by Lauryn Hill and Kanye West, who certainly know their stuff. We'll see... in the meantime, here’s a 5 for you.

...Hi, at the time of its release I thought it was a good album, definitely well played, but after several listens it lost a lot of the catch/surprise factor it had. Exactly a 2 but you could give it a 3 for his career, let's say, because anyway Slash knows his stuff.
