Alright, at this point I'm asking for the Sempols so I can get an idea, and if I like them, I’ll grab a pair.
We need to be careful with the originals given their cost. Damn!!
Luk, and all the Debasers, let's organize a Demeet for the motor... they should come through Milan on 26/05.

Exactly Hal, I think the whole album is deeply infused with the idea you're talking about. That is to start from "traditional" music, which must inevitably be linked to certain patterns, and then modernize the sound of this "tradition" in music. "Mi confesion" with the spoken parts in Spanish even sounds to me like Hip/Hop. There's a desire to modernize a genre that is not modern, but the Gotan Project shows that they know how to update it with mixes and inserts that are refreshing and that, above all, in my opinion, don't fit neatly into the jazz/nu-jazz/acid-jazz/lounge/ambie nt etc. etc. category... I mean, if we allow ourselves to make "distinctions" while speaking, they step out of the mentioned pot; if we don't make those distinctions, we can easily include them, knowing, however, that in that case, we "miss the mark," or rather, that the comparison we make isn't exactly truthful. I hope I made myself understood :) and that I've been understood :) Bye bye, have a good day!

Great review. The record, however, I find a bit cold as a pumpkin smasher. The soundtrack for the film fits well, but the MA have accustomed us to other sound excursions. Bye...

I’m not an in-depth connoisseur of Pat Metheny.
I have five of his albums, and this one among those I have literally transports me to other space-time dimensions.
Absolutely amazing!!
