THE REVIEW

We are faced with an album of unheard proportions.
No metal lover in general can miss it... UNHEARD OF!!!!!!

Fast, powerful, aggressive. In a few words, MAGNIFICENT!!!
I think all metal lovers know Testament, one of the most important bands to come out of the Bay Area. The metal band led by the "Indian chief" Chuck Bill has had a career filled with success, thanks to works like "The Legacy," "Low," "The New Order."
But just when Testament seemed to have reached the peak of their career (due to various problems that have always prevented them from having a consistent and continuous line-up), here comes the masterpiece.

Chuck Bill, supported by the "faithful" Eric Petterson, joins forces with James Murphy (formerly of Death and Obituary), Steve Di Giorgio, and the great Dave Lombardo on drums. This new line-up has given us an album as devastating as a tsunami and sharp and edgy as a razor.

A perfect album, where every track resounds in the stereo speakers in a resounding and destructive manner. Great performance on the microphone by Chuck Bill, who perfectly and sublimely embodies the prototype of a Thrash-metal singer, alternating a clean, yet scorching voice with evil and infernal growl parts.

Songs like "DNR," "3 Days in the Darkness," and "Allegiance" are metal masterpieces like few others... almost unparalleled.

Thrash-metal to the nth degree. An album that cannot be missing from the personal collection of anyone who loves metal in general...

Awakening hour. A sonic earthquake that borders between Death and Thrash.

When people say Thrash died in 1991, remember that in 1999 it resurrected thanks to Testament.

Power and Technique defines this full-length CD by Testament.

The group skillfully and adeptly juggles, with the two guitars... reinvent, in a modern way, the concept of playing metal in the 2000s.

Chuck Billy alternates his explosive voice with growls with ease; Patterson complements with his focused riffs that are both sharp and very fast.

An excellent thrash/speed/death metal album that doesn’t align with classic Testament yet represents the great new direction of Testament.
