The Byrds Turn! Turn! Turn!

I knew it, here we are on two opposite fronts. I, apart from 5th Dimension, really can’t stand them. They represent the 60's + boring to me. When I was a kid watching the video for turn turn turn, I felt a cosmic sadness of the end of the world. It's strange because sometimes I can actually like bands that honestly are inspired by them, but it's a rare case of hating the parents but not the children. Sorry.

I am tied to this album; it reminds me of a time I spent abroad. I also saw it live in Fano in 2000 with Midnite. Definitely not as good as Odelay, but still worthwhile.

no, it is absolutely not transgressive, I would call it quite cunning. As for the titles of her albums, max respect, impeach my bush is noteworthy. This is the only album I know and lovertits was really enjoyable for me too. Perhaps because I saw her as a faux-transgressive type that I wanted to hook up with but she wouldn’t give it to me... historical recurrences?

Ah well, if the "guru" of Italian music Zucchero wrote a piece for him, it must have been a blast. This time, who will he have copied? Joe Cocker used it to create his image, Dire Straits stole the solo from "Calling Elvis" for "Per colpa di chi".... mmmhhh Joni Mitchell? The last two lines are comparable to Nostradamus' tercets, hermeticism and resignation. I love these not-so-serious recs..... because you're not being serious, right Kiki?

It's okay to be a fan, but it's a love cult is truly a record, the least successful one. So I would add blissard, mountain EP, and that one with the duck on the cover.

I've been meaning to get in touch with him for a while now; I'll take care of it as soon as possible.

The last baby disappointed me quite a lot. It might be that I literally wore out the previous two I had. They were excessively repetitive. I agree about the Dead Man, referencing the Grateful Dead and the Jeffersons, a bit of West Coast stuff and a touch of Neil Young. I have 7-8 tracks from Attack included on the "Five Day Week Straw People" album. I discovered them through a cover done by the Embrooks.

Hi Northern, long time no see. I've heard little of this album, but for what I've heard, I completely agree with you. It's definitely a high-quality production, no doubt about that. Then again, they’re also a bit unfortunate; they even have the chubby guy in the group who really gives off a "we're a group of friends since middle school" vibe, while they probably held auditions to find the right chubby guy, not too much of an outsider, to include. Maybe I'm being biased... nice dedication. Oh, have you listened to the Islands album, that is, the new Unicorns?

I add samples and also that in some passages they also remind of, and obviously given the Velvetian quotes, Spacemen 3 and Cicciolina. Enjoy
