Genesis The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway

How can a stunning lp be "long" ???????? "The Lamb" is PG's first solo lp, with it begins the "difficult" music, not for everyone, but that touches the heart of those who know how to listen to it. Then, tying the music to the images evoked by the lyrics is simply fabulous.......why didn’t they make the movie ????? I will die with this drama in my heart............from someone who chose the nickname: "RAEL". Congratulations on the review.

As a die-hard Genesis fan and a follower of Peter Gabriel, I didn't spend more than 5 minutes with this album when it came out, also disappointed by the new direction the band had taken. A few years ago, by pure chance, I picked it up again and the songs really captivated me, perhaps due to a particular state of mind. I was surprised to discover in some passages the atmospheres that Banks used to infuse into the old songs (e.g., Uncertain Weather). In the end, I reevaluated CAS and I regretted that it marked the "END." And I also liked Ray Wilson. Better these Genesis than the Backstreets!!!!!!

There is a kid who had a big hallucination...........great this passage................the LP is beautiful, maybe a bit too dark.
How about splitting into two teams: one for those who like the PF up to AHM and the other for those who like the subsequent ones?

Here comes the review. ECHOES is worth the whole LP. It feels like a journey into the depths of the earth, and just when you think you’ll be stuck there forever, a little light appears to guide you back up. Fabulous.

The review could be improved: but as a start, it's not bad. When music is tied to a story that you can follow in the songs, for me that's the best!!! (see The lamb lies... by Genesis, Quadrophenia and Tommy by The Who...). With The Wall, Pink Floyd do it wonderfully and start to communicate with the audience something that is not just music. The film, then, is incredibly beautiful. After listening to Waters' solo works, I also think that Gilmour is the sweet soul of Pink Floyd's music that so many people love from TDSOTM onwards.

Congratulations on the review... but the blues with the dog isn't "Seamus" from "Meddle," is it?
I saw PFAP in the cinema when it came out and I remember being entranced by ECHOES, having watched two shows back-to-back (I was only 13 at the time and I truly got to know PF with the release of TDSOTM).
PS: The volcanic images were shot at the "Solfatara" in Pozzuoli... damn, when I think that Pink Floyd were just a few meters from my house... it's enough to drive you crazy...

About reviews: I think there shouldn't be any from industry professionals. There should be the pleasure of writing about the emotions that a work evokes, and you've done that well, even without talking too much about the album.
Examples from WWW
Beautiful review: In "Father and Son," the line "guess I'm still your child," written by a 55-year-old, would make even the most cynical of men cry.
Idiot review: "Sky Blue" is a predictable song (but what the heck does "predictable" even mean?)

I am Francesco, hoping that the registration went well and that I am now visible.
P.S. Have you ever tried to listen to SIGNAL TO NOISE in the car while it's pouring rain, accompanied by flashes of lightning and thunder? It's a unique experience at the height of PG thought: indescribable emotion with all senses engaged, fabulous.
P.S.: From the name, you'll understand that I know Peter from the Genesis days, and I agree with those who say that "The lamb lies..." is indeed his first solo album... I was struck by HERE COMES THE FLOOD.
