Wolf Parade Apologies To The Queen Mary

I feel more inspired by Chad Van Gaalen, a bit sad. Then I like the cover with that stylized sepia, yes for sure, I'll give that a try :) Hi Giov. PS I saw the photo you took with Devendra Banhart, very nice, and I must say you look good with the beard and the straw-like hat :DD

Yes gargamellus, they keep calling me...keep on calling me, beautiful even redone by Reznor, but the best is the one by RATM, perhaps one of their best: Darkness. "Yes, yes y'all, and you don't stop...shedding light on the darkness of greed," the movie is crap though.

arghhh... I'm reading you now Mister Nobody, it's just a matter of quantity (of discs) nothing else, it's just lazy Tommasino, and a bit of a pain in the ass. Plus, he's a fan of REM, he could never say he's better than Stipe, you know how fans are. swissss (onomatopoeic sound imitating the very light, imperceptible friction between my fingertips and the huge mirror I'm trying to climb)

"Well, first of all, you have to listen to the album, in any case. From the first to the last song... you really want me to suffer :DD... just kidding, I don't know if I'll ever do it, I'm sorry. I think I have better things to do. So I apologize if I dared to comment without listening, but this time I really couldn't manage it, we're probably on two different worlds. Bye."

As for the insults, I'll come looking for you at home and crap like that just makes me sad.

I haven't listened to the album, Francis, that's true, but I have listened to other Robbie Williams' works. But allow me to say, I could make the same comment about you. You probably haven't listened to all the greats you compared him to. You see, I think that making comparisons, finding references, saying "this reminds me of that," should be a "game" to guide those who read and don't know; you can't just throw out big names for the sake of it... I believe you have this perverse taste for exaggeration (I’m not referring to the compliments you gave yourself in this review; I know why you do it), like in your review of the latest Oasis. Don't you think a name like, I don't know, George Michael (to mention a more sensible example), makes more sense in this context? I don't even like the latter, but don't you see him as a more fitting comparison? Of a higher caliber than Robbie Williams and therefore more appropriate to lend more credibility to the album you reviewed? Tell me what Leonard Cohen has to do with a Robbie Williams album? Do you really think I need to listen to the album to realize that you’ve gone overboard?

of course I'm replying to you fedemillepuntiesclamativi :), but I'm not sure what I should respond to, there's the review if you want to know something about the group, the review isn't much but that's what we've got :) I really like them and I’d be curious to know what song you listened to. If you have a not too slow modem, there’s a site where you can freely download 4 mp3s and it’s this ----->http://milaus.altervista.org/mil.htm (watch out for spaces in the link).... furthermore, I can tell you that the new album will be released in a few days on November 14 and it will be called JJJ. More than that, dear Fede!!!!! all I can do is mow your garden.

Sorry, but after the first line, I took a 5-minute break to laugh heartily, and I mean heartily. Then I continued reading; the review is well written, of course, but I don’t agree with a single word. The comparisons you make with Bowie (thankfully Iko doesn’t play anymore :D), Neil Young, Jagger, Morrissey, and Cohen (I mean...Cohen!), are chilling. On a road paved with crap, you didn't miss one; you stepped on them all. This big kid doesn’t have a nice voice, can’t sing, can’t dance, has no compositional talent. He’s more of a funny guy, cute, with a bit of luck. I’m sorry because like many here, I think you can write well... happy for you.
