I have always stated this and here I reiterate: they've always been a pain in my ass. Aside from their outward appearance that could make even Carlos Santana's underwear turn in disgust, it's their way of being show-offs without the right foundations... musically mediocre, commercially (once) tough. But as we know, things don't go hand in hand. Flunked. Today they are bordering on ridiculous.

Among many, this one definitely comes close to the lowest point. The plot is quite predictable (but totally free), the usual unlikely situations are not even laughable (pathetic), and the actors are of a mediocre (low) level. Perhaps the absence of the ever-present Boldi affected the film's success, but I’m not entirely sure... the previous ones were also money drains. I watched it on DVD, and maybe that skews my judgment, but it really made me feel terrible. The Ferilli even more so.
