It's truly a shame that among the four reviews on DeB, there isn't one that truly matches the stature of the film, even though such an endeavor is really quite challenging. The themes addressed should be interpreted in the context of the socio-cultural landscape of the era, but more importantly, the intersection between "Alex's" violence and the false non-violence of the system should be explored. All of this within a sterilized white framework.
