Great CD from a legendary band in the world of black metal: Dark Funeral. Aside from the fact that they are satanic (referring to the lyrics), the Swedes offer a brutal and extreme sound that suits the vocals.
Dark Funeral is one of the best black metal bands, second only to Dark Throne and Mayhem. Perhaps the lyrics aren't convincing: true prayers in honor of Satan... but for a band of this caliber, the themes are irrelevant. Recommended to those already familiar with black metal.
