I saw them live 2 years ago and they weren't too bad. Energetic and tough (aside from a few fluffs from the drummer). A few inaccuracies in the review. Tapin = Tapping. "Give Me Up" = Givin' Up.

He may be younger than Anderson, but he’s not a 20-year-old rookie... Anyway, if you get the chance, check out some shows from the '70s to see the energy they had back then. It’s really worth it.

I saw them last summer in Cattolica and I have to say that they didn’t seem fit. I mean, it’s understandable, they are all in their 50s/60s, and it’s clear that the shows can’t be the same as 30 years ago. The review is somewhat naive in some points. 1) The musicians, like Barre for example, who have been playing "Aqualung" for over 30 years, can’t always do the same guitar solo. It’s understandable that you might want to change it; put yourself in his shoes, for instance. 2) Jonathan Noyce can definitely play the solo of Bourrèe (I heard it with my own ears). One thing I don't understand: "(Or maybe the bassist is too young and doesn’t know how to do it?)". How can you say that!! Young??? Do you really think he’s in Jethro Tull if he can’t play great???

As far as studio albums go, the vocals of the two are quite acceptable, but it’s hearing them live that you realize how much they were destroyed by excess.
P.S. speaking as a former die-hard Kiss fan.
