Zz Top Mescalero
Voto:
The links to the images don't work... plus there are two mistakes: Gibbons not Gibson! The album in question is quite enjoyable, but if you want to hear something similar from ZZ Top in a hard rock version, you should check out "Rhythmeen" (which includes "She's Just Killing Me," also featured in the soundtrack of "From Dusk Till Dawn"). The most pleasant tracks from "Mescalero" are: the title track, "What It Is Kid," and "Piece."

Blackmore's Night is a great project. I wouldn’t downplay it as a decline in style from Blackmore.
The album in question is definitely the best of Mark I, also because the subsequent self-titled one will be absolutely nonsensical since Gillan and Glover were already ready to join the lineup.
Jethro Tull War Child

I add a note. "WarChild" was supposed to be used as a soundtrack for a film that unfortunately was never completed. So it remains a simple album. Personally, I find it a bit too heavy. The arrangements and instruments are really TOO elaborate, and I end up feeling quite "out of tune." As you say, "Rainbow Blues" is a great track... It was also covered by "Blackmore's Night." I prefer their version (also for Blackmore's magical solo!).
Kiss The Very Best Of Kiss

I hate them just hearing their name... The review is quite lengthy and a bit heavy... The peak, besides "Alive," in my opinion, is "Creatures Of The Night" and the underrated "Music From The Elders."

I listened to the first two works "Gallowsbird's Bark" and your mentioned "Blueberry Boat," and I have to say they didn't excite me at all... They don't convince me much. As for the aforementioned album, I wasn't aware of its release, but I don't think I'll listen to it.
Whitesnake Live - In The Still Of The Night

Yes, in fact it's also in the DVD "Evil Or Divine" by Dio.

In my opinion, it's inferior to "Let There Be Rock." "Kicked In The Teeth" sounds a lot like the track "Let There Be Rock." "Up To My Neck To You" has a solo that's way too long in my view. Then there are really valid tracks like "Riff Raff," "Gone Shootin," "Down Payment Blues," and the stunning "What's Next To The Moon."

I saw it 2 days ago. Exciting! The DVD is also made excellently. In short, it's a great job both from a musical point of view (even though I can’t stand Doug Aldrich much for his style and how he plays. I prefer Reb Beach) and from the perspective of the production.
Vasco Rossi Nessun Pericolo... Per Te

Enough with these useless comments. The album is excellent, even though the best one, in my opinion, remains "Liberi, Liberi."
