Well, I've listened to it twice, it becomes catchier over time compared to the first impact, but it still remains a bit too "chaotic" for my tastes and doesn't really encourage me for continuous listening... anyway, it remains an experiment that, perhaps slightly less obscure and a bit more thought-out, could have turned out to be more engaging and captivating... I would give it a 3 but not a full one :) saludos

As for the electronic follow-up, I don't know how things are now, dear debaser, but some time ago there certainly weren't many electro listeners... anyway, after so long, especially since I have a bit of time, I can occasionally return to hang out on debaser, and I see with pleasure that there are still some "bastian contrari," how nice... anyway, Pimp, I'm here to listen to this pleasant recommendation of yours, I'll let you know how much I like it later; in the meantime, thanks Pimp because I must admit I've fallen a bit behind on new music releases... are they new or already seasoned? Let me know! anyway, by the way, today we require large quantities of lsd (I wouldn't even call it that anymore), while years ago just a drop would suffice ;)))

It’s me again… anyway, I have to tell you that, as I suspected, the more I listen to it, the more I like it, just like its predecessor… they are really great, there's no denying it.

You know what I tell you, dear vivis? Beautiful, for goodness' sake, many would say it’s more mature than its predecessor, but I probably prefer those transitional albums (not always, though) where fusion and experimentation aren't yet so refined that they give that feeling of catchy programmism... It remains a pleasant album, but I confide in you that I stay more loyal to the dark primordial-emotional atmospheres of from the double gone chapel... whereas in this wrong meeting they’re inserting themselves (even if squinting to the right and left) into their genre, in the only from the double chapel they erase space and time, using the instruments as the sole conduits for their emotional instincts... but this is just my opinion, of course :) a big kiss, Viv.

Irony of fate, Vivis, I introduced you to the two lone with "from the double gone chapel" and now you introduce me to this latest album of which I was still unaware... until today, a magnificent date on which the two lone swordsmen finally return to my ears and on which you elevate me with this lofty review, as only you know how to do... dear Viv, I believe it's still worth hanging around the good old debaser thanks to people like you.
Now enough chit-chat, I'm diving straight into the listening, already drooling in anticipation... ah for Ghemison: it’s truly worth retracing the history of the two lone, particularly Weatherall, including his old and current live performances... it's an endless well of eclectic musical art... ps, thanks also to Odradek for the tip on Andrew's solo, which also slipped past my searches; I've fallen a bit behind, I can't deny it ;) byez

This album and this (re)union have been the most beautiful, exciting, and moving surprises since the release of CRX... after their separation, I always viscerally hoped they would get back together, until I lost hope and sought refuge (musically) in the past... but what happened today is memorable: I find myself by chance in a small record shop in a little provincial town when I spot it, like a mirage, in all its glory. I can't believe my eyes... in 2 seconds it’s already in my hands, treasured like a gem, and now it’s already the second time I'm listening to it while enjoying the information and gems offered on their website www.casinoroyale.it... now, what can I say? Any judgment I have about them would be too biased, as they have always been my absolute favorite Italian band; wanting to be objective, I partially share asafp's opinion imho, but everything takes on a frivolous importance when compared to the gift they have given me—coming back together under a guise that Mauri has brilliantly outlined... well done Mauri! They have matured, like us, in the best way possible, and those who have known and loved them know that it couldn't have gone better... to hell with those fools who talk nonsense about alternativity without even knowing what they're talking about, like that fool Duane. I don't want to add anything to a review that is already perfect in itself; I just want to say to them that they have always accompanied me (and now they will finally continue to do so) "thank you from the bottom of my heart" and a "well done, very well done" to Mauri... I can't wait to enjoy them on March 31 in Perugia... Casino Royale on a special mission ready for takeoff!!!
