Just by superficially listening to these two artists, one can derive a similarity that allows for a comparison. In my opinion, although with similar evolutions that could be encompassed within the same genre, the music of Drake and that of Kozelek stems from entirely different reasons. This does not detract from the fact that this is an amazing album and that Drake, for his part, can be placed in that small niche of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time.
