Here is the tale of the ugly duckling that becomes a beautiful swan. Gwen was forced to sing for several years in a ska band called No Doubt (ska is a very inelegant music, typical of the lower classes and especially out of fashion already 20 years ago), and finally she found the courage to free herself from this slavery: out comes her first, and hopefully not last, solo album of indescribable charm and freshness.
All the songs are great and along the lines of What You Waiting For, the one with the Alice in Wonderland video, in heavy rotation on MTV. The production is perfect in every aspect.
PS: As usual, here’s a gem you didn’t know about. LAMB is not only the title of the album, but also a clothing line designed by Gwen Stefani: if you want to surprise your girl, give her something from LAMB!
