I will tell you (in all frankness) that when I went (years ago) for the first time to the Louvre museum and walked through the kilometer-long hall adorned with sensational frescoes and stunning wonders that precede the room of the Mona Lisa, once I found myself in solitude (one would say: a large group of interchangeable Japanese tourists was persistently photographing that barely allowed me to approach the Mephistophelean portrait..) {and at the same time I also noted that she (the lady portrayed) here, for a temporary microsecond, unpleasantly altered her well-known smile.. the disfigured vision appears aberrant even to those who are used to seeing it really in any color} I noticed a certain unbearable injustice in giving so much attention to the microscopic hidden within the painting (instead of the rest).
