(Ine)stimated Brother
@[De...Marga...] as I see it, before writing something of mediocre (in)usefulness for the next person who has the patience to read us, it would have been
#maybe and anyway better to listen to the whole album.
And maybe not just once.
Because I know very well that here we are long-term listeners, with ears shattered by the blasts received in the past and we know these bands as well as our holey pockets, but I still believe it would have been better, for that sense of apathetic justice and respect that belongs to us - and sometimes overwhelms us - to go beyond the initial "hot" disappointment and try to analyze scientifically, or rather autoptically given the context, everything calmly and when things have settled.
It’s clear then that each of us writes what we want based on what we want:
or even just by looking at the cover image (which often, it’s true, tells us more than the actual musical content of an album).
I say this only because there have been albums that I found repulsive at first listen but that eventually became some of my favorites.
Personally, I can only say that I haven't listened to it: and, probably, I never will.
I had already found the predecessor from a few years ago to be generally useless.
Out of mere curiosity or perhaps just out of boredom, I sampled a couple (aka 2/3) of random tracks on Tubbo.
I found them increasingly leaning towards inconclusiveness: but I admit that I didn’t dedicate the right attention (I was watering the parsley in the meantime).
But maybe all the other tracks, which I haven't heard, could be super-exciting.
Who can say.
I, definitely and in any case, cannot.
Kisses & hugs.
