Jack Dejohnette feat. Bill Frisell The Elephant Sleeps But Still Remembers

For the giuggiolistiqa-brodesqa precision: "it is the result of an alteration of the original 'andare in brodo' (or broth) of succiole: in this transition, the giuggiole, that is, the fruits of the giuggiolo, used, among other things, both in medicine, for decoctions against coughing, and in cooking, for jams and preserves, have replaced the succiole, or the boiled chestnuts with skins." It will be, as has been read/written from many corners, an absolute monstrosity, an enormous trickery as well as a significant theft at the expense of poor Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust - 1979), but this seemingly miserable and rather insignificant little film plays (and takes the mickey out of: moderately sadistically) marvelously and with its dignity with "our" most outrageous and concealed phobias: after the pre-nocturnal/cinematographic de-visioning, I couldn't sleep (almost) the entire night.. (and I had to work the following day) damnation upon them. Chilling respects to josa.

Too much grace and (unmerited) generosity/superstition towards the humble in comparison to the miserable notebook-keeper of monosyllabic thoughts from two tall tales. Moreover: forgive me, Tres Cher Monsieur Rainer, besides being a De-Poet of the absurd (this is meant as a compliment, as I assume there have been equivocal misunderstandings), I would like to highlight to you {since you are somewhat of a novice, although, personally, I would argue, already among the most respectable since the dawn of time until today} that this farnetic speech-making (and not only) often manifests as you have described {wonderful pages on works that are directly/proportionally irreplaceable, utterly unquantifiable} by the [relative] majority of the frequenters. Frankly (and while I understand, in some respects, your testimony), I find it fìu-fiu fìu-fiu-firifì (it would be a moderate indifference) towards them if not more. And in concluding, I would dare to present to you a certain Morettiana/significant (for me) phrase that could represent in semi-full the vague disassembled apparent reality regarding "I believe in people, but I do not believe in the majority of people. I sense that I will always feel comfortable and in agreement with a minority...". I almost forgot: very pleasant de-paging. Strongly assorted respect to You and to todos los otros de-leggiucchianti.

I would not wish to delay Your [fraLLei, sweet Poet and the pseudo-Scandinavian gentility BjorkaSixtyEit] noble and loveable written idyll, but I would also quickly honor myself to testify that You would render the Highest service, working in a pentagrammatic/narrative sense, to the music-squandered people DeBaseriota as well as to so many Marvelous Aqustic Works.

Esteemed Sir De-Poet (besides) Rainer, I hope you will forgive (I trust) the curious disruption, but what would this marvelous discourse be that You would be consuming through so many and repeated auscultations? Do not leave us entangled and humanly suffering on the sharp spines of it (moderately) I humbly plead. Terje (it seems) does not particularly please me: three stars (at least on a rigid, music-separating support) are enough and moreover advance (or, at least, that is how I recall). Kind regards and much more respect.

Forgive me, Dear Monsieur M. Poletti, but intrigued by your vote-three on the Woody Allen debut [discussed a few lines above], I eagerly scrutinized and with a certain curiosity that considerable A+G+Giacomesque page. Now: starting from the straclassikal et respectful de-gustibusian principle that de gustibus, don’t you think there is at least a slight discrepancy between those two films? Would you assign the three-vote to both without batting an eyelash? That (in my personal opinion) brilliant example of surreal and para-grotesque cinema (bis) treated and placed in the same pamphlet as this all in all innocuous and somewhat banal (not to be despised, make it clear) filmlet? I would be (at least) moderately perplexed. But on the other hand, the globe is beautiful in its variegatedness. Respect and cordiality.

...and if my memory serves me right (as it often does, more often than not), that Bob (Dickinson) is the brother of the more famous (or infamous, depending on points of view) maiden+metallic Bruce. A moderately nice album (if I'm not mistaken). Mixed tribute+assorted.

De cine-gustibus. This is the Woody I prefer the most: sufficiently silly, reckless, and moderately rambling. Faiv.
