Veda Car_, here inside, I say and do (sometimes with irony, sometimes not) what I deem appropriate, but always with the due and necessary dose of respect towards other users. I’m sorry if you perceived any form of disdain in my (surely useless and avoidable) comments towards you, but I assure you that it was never among my intentions. If you would kindly reread the above, I don't think I have addressed you negatively (unless you consider the quote from Jovanotti to be heavily offensive) in any way, yet you allow yourself the luxury of "playfully" offending me (is it normal for you to derogatorily call others names without reason? For me, no) without thinking twice. I frankly care little about what Mr. Polpetta thinks/writes and I'm certainly not here to create or have disputes with anyone. I was simply providing you an example of this gentleman's clarity, whom he evidently feels quite akin to himself: the fact that he did not grasp the connection leaves me moderately perplexed. Be happy.

Dear _, so, according to your way of thinking, Mr. Polpetta has "made you aware of the people you're dealing with"? My compliments. Anyway, you are right: my (rather limited, indeed) irony comes across as truly offensive, while when Mr. Polpetta calls me a SFASCIACA**I it’s a friendly and light-hearted irony. I know (and I regret this, mainly for you) that Mr. Vortice is right. Have a good de-permanence (if you deem it appropriate).

Dear user Joe Polpetta, first of all, please try to be more respectful towards me, otherwise I will send you back to the frying pan to sizzle properly. @Mr. Endor: Perhaps it would be wise for you to listen exclusively to your own common sense and not to those who (completely for free) FAKE-Polpettesque try to sow discord among the various users. If you have time to waste, I invite you to read my comments from the last (approximately) three years... if you manage to find a single offensive comment against anyone, I’ll buy you a drink. Most respectful regards.

"I thought it was a serious site.." Sorry, dear user, if we playfully bumped into your (apparently highly developed) sensitivity. Anyway, better that you know this is NOT a serious site. "Serious" sites are boring. If you're getting bored here (I hope not, of course), the web is, as you know, full of sites that might suit your needs. Here, we (sometimes) have fun. Do you want to play with us? About the disk: never even heard it mentioned. About the group: the same as before. What would you like us to talk about? The Saxon (who were hardly more than modest twenty years ago)? The MegaMorti? You tell us. Respectful regards aplenty.

I don't know why, but when I saw such a de-page, a particularly vivid memory came to my confused mind, one of the most estranged and chilling musical pages in the history of Italian music: "..you're like my bike, you're just like it, let’s go for a ride, come on, if I were you, I'd be up for it..". Motorized regards.

Never felt even de-nominating; indeed they would seem quite interesting. Noteworthy de-page. Exploded regards(ly).

@Bartolomeo: I wouldn't know whether to be happy for myself and/or worried for you! @MrMarMar: "Masterpieces. Genius." Personally, I would think it wise to try to use such descriptions (which you seem to tend to overuse) only when there is a real (objective, even though it is quite difficult to make "universal" considerations in music) need for them. As far as I'm concerned (I don't have to convince you), they remain honest craftsmen, albeit possessed of considerable but often sterile individual talent. If you consider them Geniuses, that's clear, I won't argue: you’re happy, everyone is happy. Cordially respectful regards to todos.

"Images And Words (which many do not recognize as the first true progressive metal album).." But have patience, dear Monsieur DeSplinter, for why does she (like many others) make such anti-historical and not exactly reality-congruent statements? Allow me to say that I am certain she will kindly follow me patiently in the next sparse lines: personally, no longer being exactly a youthful lad, I lived through the "contemporaneity" of the release and rise of the then-unknown Dream Theater (I remember a marvelous review by Beppe Riva of their debut in the columns of Metal Shock - spring of 1988). If we must painstakingly discern a truly "progressive" record, in the literal sense of the term, worthy of the title bestowed by the Theater of Dreams, it was indeed the debut "When Dream And Day Unite" .. the rest (that is, from the second trumpeted yet mediocre "Images & Words"), if I may, seemed to me personally a disappointing and resplendent (if steep) descent into the meanderings of nullified rock. As for the de-reviewed Fates Warning: honest tradesmen not entirely devoid of talent but lacking (alas) that necessary qualitative something capable of making them an entity in and of themselves. I shall not bore you further. Moderately progressive regards.

It's true: She writes more and more better. I'm almost tempted to attribute a fantastically excellent 1+1. UH! P.S. (It has nothing to do with anything but) Since the Celtic Icepops melted (for the n-th time), I've had an insatiable craving for Pandemonium and ToMegaTherion anti Soft Stories more than for distorted Vintage-isms. P.S.#3 UH-UH (like glue)!
