Yes, I would almost completely agree with your balanced analysis: a decisive step forward compared to the last studio albums; there are several inspired and successful songs that seem to belong to the group of those that (indeed) "will remain." I might have spent a few more words on the second live album, which is at times truly exhilarating, also thanks to the retrieval of a couple of old gems ("Minas De Cobre," just to name one) performed spectacularly. I wouldn't tear apart any further. Or Vuar.

Indeed, at this time I'm not inclined to listen to dischimattone (or block as you might call it) of a protocatartic nature, however that octopus of Kid Millions deserves (still) respect and not so much for the Oneida, who don't excite me more than necessary, but for having lent his precious services to the nervy Ex-Models. And (speaking of indigestible bricks) what do we make of the new double-Swans?

I'm not entirely sure that the score is really 82/100; perhaps we could lean towards a 79 or a more fitting 83 (still out of 100). In any case - aside from the pointless banter - the album, thanks also to the contributions of King Midas Rick Rubin in the production booth, is really quite lovely: and the bone-crushing Angus Young-style riff of "Flying High" is definitely the kind of thing that leaves a goofy smile plastered on your face.
